Haris Kittos is a composer and visual artist who lives in London since 1998. He studied music and fine art in his hometown Thessaloniki, and then postgraduate composition in TCM with Daryl Runswick, GSMD with Diana Burrell and, finally, in RCM with Julian Anderson and Edwin Roxburgh, where he currently teaches. Haris has also been mentored by Theodore Antoniou, Georges Aperghis, Susan Bradshaw, Beat Furrer and Alexander Goehr. His music has been performed throughout the UK and abroad by Arditti Quartet, dissonArt, Ensemble Exposé, Ensemble In Extremis, Fukio Ensemble, London Sinfonietta, Jane Manning, UMS ‘n JIP and others.
