Born in Berlin in 1989, Alexander Liebermann is the winner of several composition competitions such as ASCAP’s Morton Gould Award, GEMA, and 2013th’s Juilliard Orchestra Competition. Originally from Germany, Mr. Liebermann started composing in 2003 and studied in the Hochschule für Musik „Hanns Eisler” in Berlin. Mr. Liebermann is enrolled currently in the master of music program at The Juilliard School, where he studies with Samuel Adler and Steven Stucky. He is supported by the DAAD and the Gitta Steiner Memorial Scholarship.
