Tsen-Fang Lin is finishing her master’s degree in composition at National Sun Yat-Sen University in Taiwan, studying with Dr. Szu-Hsien Lee. She runs a music production studio in Kaohsiung, and composes as well as performs as a pianist. Her recent focuses have been on writing musicals and producing popular music recordings. The musical Banana Years, with Lin’s original compositions and her transcriptions of Taiwanese folk songs, was performed in the National Theatre in Taiwan with a sensational success. In addition, she arranged and produced songs for famed pop singers across Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China, among them Cecilia Cheung Pak-Chi, Jolin Tsai, Rene Liu, and Angela Zhang.
